This page lists all the campsites we have stayed in during the 12 years we have been caravanning.  We will in due course provide reviews for most of these in the following country sections.  Many have already been published by Lesley on ukcampsite.co.uk  under the pen name Iwalani.

We try to be as objective as possible with our reviews, but the quality of the site often does not reflect the joy of being there.  Much depends on the ambience, the weather and the clientele at that particular time. To take two extreme examples, Camping Bacchus on the Sunion Peninsular in Greece, would scarcely merit one star looked at objectively, but it was one of the most enjoyable few weeks we have stayed in a campsite.  On the other hand Camping Natterer See near Innsbruck has a most luxurious toilet block which would shame a five star hotel, is in a beautiful position surrounded by impressive scenery.  However a not very good pitch and poor weather meant we did not enjoy our few days there.
